Every time I look at Mount St. Helens or hear about it all I can think of it 'what if this had been Mount Hood or Mount Rainier'. We keep getting these wake up calls and yet we just don't seem to get the message. If the state is as prepared for one of those mountains to come to life as Florida was for the hurricanes this year there is going to be a lose of life like this country has never seen before.

Damn that was negatively worded. Well I guess a sleep starved brain will do that.

Of course I did get on during the day awhile back - alas, the fog had rolled in with a vengeance.
