Ah. We call them Camp Ovens.

The reason I asked is that over here, a dutch oven is when someone farts under the bed cover blankets and pulls the covers over someone else's head

I wouldn't cook damper in someone's fart fumes.

If I had a good dutch oven, I'd be most likely to use it for a really chunky stovetop stew or spaghetti sauce, or . . . I'd love one. My birthday is in April.

Baked beans almost always have tomatos, so I forget them. :) But they'd make a little dutch oven of their own, in an Australian sense.
