Polly took me for a drag around the park this afternoon, and my left ankle decided it was on holiday at the Fox Glacier in NZ by recreating the pain of sliding off the pile of lateral morain and landing in the river. Either that or some bugger has a voodoo doll of my foot and is stabbing knitting needles into the ankle. Either way, it bloody hurts and I want it to stop.

I didn't go. And after two years of constant pain, and then a few years of nothing, and then PAIN, I found the injury had mutated into arthritis I'll have to endure for the rest of my life. Not saying that getting it taped up &c would have prevented that, but.. well, we're both Blokes (or I hope I am) but there's no need to be STUPID about it.
