And so after 798km I'm back in Dubbo. I earned enough to register my car and still have enough left over for a packet of tim tams.

Which is nice.

Now I have to write a 2000 word essay on team management, due Monday. Hooray.

LionkingCMSL has deleted his journal. Is there a problem?

Look here for a possible clue to the reason for LionkingCMSL's journal deletion.

He sure does carry the weight of the world on his shoulders a lot for someone who drives a train. It seems to me that in such a profession one would quickly learn the lesson that one can't always take the responsibility for other people getting hurt just because they insist on doing so in one's path.

D'oh, missed 'im. Added to friends list instead. :)

(Craig Motbey here, ex of alt.callahans, who notably failed to visit (http://groups.google.com.au/groups?hl=en&lr=&selm=3cb293c9.29352380%40News.CIS.DFN.DE) last time he passed through Dubbo...)

it was a rapid there-and-back trip that gave me no time to visit anyone. Bugger.

I thought of your adventures in Woomera when I passed by there earlier this year.

I don't follow the Suburban Jungle forums (or any forums for that matter...too much angst over simple things) but in his final post to his journal before he deleted, I gathered that he had either lost his temper or had taken a comment personally and was going to withdraw from the forum and from the online community again as a measure of atonement. He has done this before, but he didn't delete the journal last time. I am thinking this might be permanent.
