I really want a small metal lathe so i can build model steam engines. It would be a hobby that gets me away from the PC.Until I get one I'll have to build an engine in POVRay.

the one i got was clsoe to a grand,
but its was upmarket..

i think 600 odd would be expected..

but also we could only source it though
one guy, and he siad it was the last one
he was inporting..

I have the cylinder and engine block done, then come the valves, pipes and boiler, burner, and a waterconservation system I'd love to try in real life.
