AARGH! MY EYES! THE GOGGLES THEY DO NOTHING!

A Blog found by [livejournal.com profile] janetmiles.

One of The Worst Page Designs Ever. What was this person thinking? Were they thinking? Good grief.

Ye gods---

That should be against the LAW...

(It's certainly against NATURE---)

Hey! I finally got to use the radioactive screen icon!

Oh well, it *is* a web page set up by a 15 year old girl.

She's old enough to know better!

I'd expect THAT kind of crap from a kindergarten-aged rugrat, not a mid-teenager.

Ye GODS---!!!!

Some think it's cool to be different than anyone else though :)

Some people are totally whacked, too.

(Like THIS kid obviously is---)

Pity the guy (or whatever) who marries her. He'd have to drop a LOT of acid to "understand" her "artistic creativity"...

(hehehe!!!)

I actually looked at it and er......

I know there's this rumour that otters are supposed to be on something 24 hours a day, but even that's too much for me.

Question is, can she even read it or is she trying to hide something so horrible and terrible behind that?

Anyways, eeeeew. *shudder*

One day she'll learn that illegible isn't cool, and she'll fade the background about 95%.

And one day we'll have jetpacks, hovercars and holiday homes on the moon.

Yo! It's almost 11pm Friday here; I'm too fried from working to do the timezone conversion---what time/day is it in YOUR corner of Paradise, Den?

(And yes, the kid looks like a "loser" for sure...)

Right this instant, 3pm-ish

I would guess they werent thinking.. My sunglasses couldnt hide that

Using Mozilla's nifty "block images from this server" to turn off the background, the underlying design actually isn't that bad.

I'm reminded once again why I will never, never use a graphic background for a Web site I design, though.

[identity profile] atara.livejournal.com 2004-02-21 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
Once, in a quest to made the worst web page ever, I designed a similar page... But having a psychadelic, animated GIF as a background.

Apparently it gave people the crawlies.

*SCREAMS*

*pant pant pant* I'm not sure what hurts worse now - the pain in my head or the bleeding eyes I have from inflicting that site on myself. Ye gods!

Now, I've seen people successfully create a website where they combine a picture background like that with text you could actually *read*.. it's too bad that this teenager didn't study a few of those more successfull kinds of webpages before she got started....

The mark of a webpage that the author never reads.

Not that my blue-on-black is that much better, but still.

ERF!

That's worse than one of those "pictures" displayed at the mall; where you're supposed to stare at it until you see a 3-D sailboat. I stared at that thing for just 30 seconds and got a sinus headache. }:x(

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

[identity profile] dancinglights.livejournal.com 2004-02-21 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
So I was looking at this over my slow-ass dialup connection going "Well, it's bad. But it's not THAAT bad."

And then the background image loaded.

...the pain. so much of it. my eyeessss...

*twitch*

Were they thinking?

Anyone with a working brain cell would find that impossible to read. Therefore...
