Reminds me of a friend of mine teaching in the UK who used the word without knowing what it meant there. OTOH, doing so turned a taciturn class into an extremely engaged one.

My favorite Looney Tunes character! (But I like "Gossimer" too -- all hair and high-top tennis shoes).

I remember hearing that "fanny" ain't the polite euphemism for tush that it is in the US, but I'm not quite sure what it means instead.

Women have them instead of the bloke bits that make blokes blokes. "Front bottom" is one term I've heard that is too twee to use.
