Is the Woomaroo facility still in operation? When I was Chief Engineer at the now defunct Clark Lake Radio Observatory in San Diego, I used to work with them, Jodrell Bank (England), and the VLA (Very Large Array -- New Mexico) a lot. Before the Internet we communicated via Telex. Ah, I can hear the old Model 19 Teletype chunking away. And and undeard of rate of 60 Baud!!!
