I should point out that I didn't raise the kangaroos. They are fostered by a fellow rescuer who lives on a farm.



All young marsupails are called joeys, not just macropods. This is a ring-tailed possum.



I met her while visiting the Owl Lady.



She'll get her black and white markings as she matures. In the meantime, to reduce stress she is given her own teddy, which acts as a surrogate mum and gives the joey something soft and fuzzy to cling to.

Its cute.. i'll give it that =^-^= but whatever it is, its not a sugar glider. O_O Provided that you're talking about the same thing I am, (Petaurus breviceps) sugar gliders are smaller, lighter coloured and have flaps of fluffery skin between their ankles and their wrists allowing them to glide (hence the name :D). Just google the name and look in the images section :\
