I should point out that I didn't raise the kangaroos. They are fostered by a fellow rescuer who lives on a farm.
All young marsupails are called joeys, not just macropods. This is a ring-tailed possum.

I met her while visiting the Owl Lady.

She'll get her black and white markings as she matures. In the meantime, to reduce stress she is given her own teddy, which acts as a surrogate mum and gives the joey something soft and fuzzy to cling to.
