Job Interview

I had a rather hurried Job Interview yesterday at the Uni. They're looking for some casual IT Techs, so I applied. I feel the interview went well and I'll know in a few weeks. The other interview is on Tuesday. I might actually get a job. Part time, yeah, but it'll pay more than these Govt. Handouts 'm trying to live on.

IT *good*! Have you considered getting certification as an Information System Security Professional (CISSP)? It's as far as I know international, and ads one helluva punch on your resume. I can send you information if you like.

I got a reprieve from the final CISSP class and test exam tomorrow (my sinuses are worse than they've been in a year); apparently a cable-seeking backhoe hit a suspected Al Queda cell (well, that was the excuse; the reality is that they were expanding the parking lot and boo-boo'd on the blueprints and yanked the power cable out of the earth...

*Looks at the clock* I may be out of touch today. My sinuses are causing me rather extreme pain. But Wabbit will field emails and calls for me. Y'all can call me at (916) 422-8069. I have enough antihistamine in me to drop a... well, to drop a Grizzly. So if you insist on speaking to me, don't expect a coherent conversation. I am OFFICIALLY in hibernation mode.

It's well out of my price range at the moment. I get $650/month and have to live on that.
