Last night I happened to catch more than 30 seconds of Australia's Funniest Home Videos (30 seconds is my barf limit.) One video showed a kid playing in the snow in the Australan Alps when she turned and screamed "MUM! It's a POLAR BEAR!" The camera panned to show a wombat waddling through the snow.
"No, it's a wombat," said Mum.
"IT'S A POLAR BEAR!" screamed the kid.
"It's not a polar bear, it's a bloody WOMBAT," said mum.
I thought it was amusing. If I'd been there I would have been screaming at the kid "YES! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE OR IT'LL KILL AND EAT YOU! AAAAAAAAARGH!"
It didn't win the prize for best video. That went to the one of the bloke being hit in the nuts with a cricket bat, and he fell back into a swimming pool. I hate that show.
