D'oh! When I first saw this I read it as 46C (thinking that 46/8 were the high and low for the day -- quite a swing) and my first thought was, "That looks awfully toasty. Isn't it supposed to be winter down there?"

Then I noticed that it was 46F and my next thought was, "That looks awfully toasty. Isn't it supposed to be winter down there?"

45C is a usual summer temperature in Dubbo, while winter swings from -5C at night to +12C by day. A day in the single figures is unusual.

It's quite comfy today: 15C. Mmmmm warm.
