Legendary jazz and blues singer Nina Simone has died at the age of 70 at her home in southern France, her agent has announced.

Bugger.

"Baby Just Cares For Me" is one of my favourite songs, and I loved the Aardman Animation for it.

Bugger indeed - I had thought she already *was* dead, was pleased to find a few months back that I was in error and that she was still touring, and now bam, she gone.
Feeling Good is my personal fave (tho I love the Aardman anim & song combo too)
