I can whip you up some web space for practicing on if you need it, just say Puggle! and you got it...

You will need to use WinSCP (http://winscp.vse.cz/eng/) instead of ftp, as all the non-secure services ports are closed save port 80 and SMTP on the box out of paranoia.

Apache v2.0.40 and perl are at your service...
