The current Liberal (ie conservative) government sucks a lot. It was voted in even though the PM said they were going to introduce a Goods & Services Tax, which promptly made almost everything rise in price by 10%.

Opinion Polls said he had a very low approval rating, and if an election had been held in August the Labor Party (ie liberals) would be in power.

Enter some refugees.

Or rather, they try to enter and this fucking government commits an act of piracy, then spends MILLIONS OF DOLLARS keeping them out.

460 people from Iraq and Afganistan.

But we have to keep them out or they will Take All Our Jobs and they are Illegal Immigrants.

And now opinion polls say people think the PM is doing a Good Job. In spite of everyting he's done, keeping 460 poor bastards looking for a better life from entering the country has some how magically cancelled out all the poverty and bankrupcies this conservative government has caused.

I do think it sucks, and I do empathize - but if y'all don't have a "Ministry of Homeland Security" in the works, you're doing better than us. :P It's going to get worse all around before it gets better, I'm afraid.
