Date: 20 Jan 2003 17:08 (UTC)And even cooler, is that I spent most of last year working near Alderley Edge. In fact the route that Gowther Mossock and the kids take circled Radnor Mere (the lake just south of Alderley Edge) and in fact went through my old office! The Wizard pub is still there and is a very nice restaurant indeed. I couldn't find a farm called Highmost Redmanhay, but there arer quite a few that could have inspired it. Of course, I did look and I walked up the Edge itself :>
See this map for more details of my office location (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=385000&y=376840&z=3&sv=385000,376840&st=4&tl=Grid+Location+385000,376840&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf)
