Of the subjects I failed, Object Modelling Techniques was a marginal fail so I can re-sit that exam in Feb. The other two, Java Programming Fundamentals and Business Statistics, are available as Distance Education subjects next semester, so I can take them again. It will put finishing the course back by a semester, but I hope to have a full-time job before then and will be doing the whole thing part time.

Don't foget to hit the Freefall In Color strips; I've seen a "cyan" Helix, but this is truly not his color. I didn't picture him quite as shiny as in your "Wrong Button" shot, but it did give you an opportunity to show off the scenery reflected in his own shell.

Sawtooth Rivergrinder would be impressive. He's usually represented in shades of red, and is nicely represented near the end of "Freefall In Color Volume 1".

Funny you should mention Sawtooth...

I always see Helix with a white casing, but not as reflective as I show in my Wrong Button pic. I see he's a dark grey in the colour strips but Mark always draws him unshaded in the B&W strips. I tried to match Qwerty and Dvorak as much as possible to the colour strips, and had to guess the rest.

I decided the Oldbot should be basic white with dark grey trim, Tangent would be white casing with a mid-grey head, and Triac would look good in a pale cream number with off-the-shoulder burgundy trim.

The lime-green bot... well, lime jelly, lime casing. It seemed right at the time.

Any suggestions, changes etc? Otherwise I'll post it to the forum.

Absolutely fabulous. What a Christmas present for the Freefall gang--and Mark Stanley!

Tremendous work, Batty Den!

We didn't fail anything, we just didn't quite get it right yet. I'll be repeating more than I want. *sigh*

Your stuff stopped me going birko and taking to the books with an electric saw. It's not just you, by the way.
