I watched it happen on CNN from about 10 minutes after the first plane hit until about an hour after the towers collapsed, before going to bed at 2am. All I could think was "All those people. All those people."

Prime Minster John Howard called it "An international act of bastardry." I agree.

All my problems seem so bloody insigificant after last night.

Me too. I don't know about the news there, maybe it was different. But it just went from strange accident to horrific tradegy in those few seconds. The LAST place I want to go is a happy colorful toy store. It just seems...wrong, somehow.
