Of course, that's Steve Richardson's racing car.

The showroom Monaro can be found here:

5.5ltr V8 or 4 litre supercharged V6... take your pick. (prices are in AU$) Check out the Monaro History to see how they looked in 1968. They were a radical design for Australia then.

The rumour mill says the 2004 Commodore Calais (the luxury range of Commodore) will be all-wheel drive with a 6litre V8 or a 5 litre V6 with supercharger.

The first prototype of the new model was unveiled at the Sydney Motorshow about 4 years ago. Ford unveiled their new range of Falcons with a all-dancing, all singing laser light show and half naked ladies. Meanwhile on the Holden stand, one of the blokes who was setting things up flicked the cover off the Monaro concept car and said "Oh, and here's a new Monaro." BAM! Every single rev-head in Sydney went to look, leaving Ford waving their arms and saying "Excuse me! Fords are over here. Hey! Please?" At the time there were no plans to produce Monaros, but Holden dealers were deluged with requests for info and ORDERS for a car that didn't exist.

Somone at Holden went "Hmm... Maybe there's a market."

and there was.
