Me cook with FIRE!

Today we will have smoked trout, flounder and bream.

Yesterday I was told by my neighbours that they stand on their back verandah and smell my smoking, and get very hungry. I may have to invite them in one day for a meal. I really don't want crazed pensioners climbing over the back fence, screaming for meat.

And in other news

Puglsey Bob comes to stay with me for two weeks. His carer is going to Victoria to work in the burn-zone for National Parks. I'm happy to get Bob again but seriously worried for Mel. She won't be at the fire, but trees are falling. A firefighter was killed by one this week.

208 were killed and some fires are still out of control, but no towns are threatened.
