Date: 31 Jul 2002 13:37 (UTC)Funny related note: I've read through a few of the Original Cast autobiographys (or in Shatner's case, his ghost written bio) -- Shatner, Nichelle Nichols and George Takae. Shatner's are good only for the On the Set stuff that happened, the rest should be taken with a HUGE grain of salt, as it's all ego. Nichelle's was nice as it showed her history as well as her time on Trek. George's is my favorite to date (I've still not read Jimmy Dohan's or any of Walter Koenig's books on the subject) because it does show the comraderie between the rest of the cast, and much of the real action - and how it was far more fun for the rest of the cast as they became an honest family (and yes, it did show that Shatner really did have too much ego, and it even butted up against his friend Leonard). A real eye-opener was when George talked about his days in the internment camps here in America during WWII, when the Japanese-Americans were rounded up...
