Try projecting Alaska in true size over it. Texans like to brag, but the ol' sourdoughs in Alaska just joke, "Yes, but if we divide Alaska in four parts, we'll have four states bigger'n Texas..."

For a short while a friend taught highschool in Houston. He was from Queensland. He told them Queensland was 4 times larger than Texas, and they called him a liar.
