I noticed the clones in Attack Of The Clones were maori actor, whose name escapes me right now. I thought it was cool hearing the Kiwi accent coming from those helmets.

Definitely North Island, possibly from Orcland. Whaddaya reckon, Miche?

There are three Kiwis of note in that film:

Jango Fett, played by Temuera Morrison, who is probably the guy you mean in your entry. He's not from Auckland, he's from the Arawa people that live round Rotorua. The Morrisons are a family of note -- they've been in showbiz since the 30s or 40s.

Boba Fett, played by Daniel Logan. Watch out for this kid.

Amidala's personal guard captain guy who's name I forget, played by Jay Laga'aia, a Kiwi of Samoan (or Tongan, I forget) descent. Best known in Oz for the work he did on Water Rats.

And yeah, it was lovely to hear those unfettered Kiwi accents. :)

oh that's that guy's real name. i keep thinking of him as 'tommy' from his waterrats role :-)
