it appears someone I thought a friend has unfreinded me because of a fight between three of my friends. I've said nothing because I don't know what to say.
I'm sorry Den, as I explained to Chase in response to an e-mail she wrote. You all got caught in a massive emotional surge where I wanted nothing to do with irc or anyone on it. Being a touch more calm and rational this morning I've added *most* of those people back.
On the up side, it did let me ditch a few people I really hadn't wanted around anyway. :Þ
I know what to say. "Dammed if you do, damned if you don't."
At least you're not one of the ones she "never really wanted around anyway". I guess she forgets that if I really want to all I have to do is log in under another username, or go sit at the other computer 3 feet away. *shrug* Such is life. Moving on.
It's perfectly possible for mature adults to share a circle of friends who don't get along (witness the Jax Furs fiasco in my own journal). I'm still friends with the two I thought I would lose and I've managed to repair two more friendships. I've made two new friends out of it and the rest --- deadwood.
I hope your friend understands the concept; no one should have to "choose" one or the other.
I'm crap at emotional things over distance but I'm really sorry your feelings got tromped on.
You're in the best space you can be in- not caught in the middle or on either end. That's good. Crap at emotions? Lie:D. Jess, BEK, your annoyance at the person about the sheepdogs, sausages of doom-If you're crap at emotional things how do you write so damn well? "Cobblers to Shumacher!" indeed.

It's only been the last few days that I discovered there was something wrong in my circle of friends. As i said, I'm crap at emotional things.
