Would you buy a CD if you knew it would crash your PC if you tried to play it in the CD Drive?

No, I wouldn't. I do not have a stero system. My PC is the only music player I have. In fact, I have a TV card on board and my PC is also my cable TV.

Same here. I do have a stereo, but no CD player hooked up to it.

I wonder if it would crash my PS2 ... that's the only 'CD player' I have in the house that isn't in my PCs

I don't know about other folks, but since the advent of mp3s I've bought more CDs than I ever had before. I wonder if the music industry is really hurting or if they are just imagining profits that were never there in the first place?

When Napster was in its heyday, I bought about a CD a month. The only CD I've bought in the past 6 months has been Great Big Sea's new album, and that's only because I'm addicted to the band.

At the price of CDs, I'm not gonna blow my money on something that's utterly untried.

Talk about picking scabs....they haven't even recovered from their prix fixe or copyright issues to make everyone who owns any sort of capable recording device a common criminal that backfied campaign(s):D.
