Pours a slightly cloudy, golden yellow The head is large and bubbly and fades away slowly. Lots of visible carbonation

First sip: Mildly malty, slightly citrusy, a little bready and yeasty (from the sediment, I suppose) with a moderate hoppy bitterness that lingers. Mouth feel is smooth and creamy, with carbonation tingles on the tongue.

Coopers have reduced the amount of sediment quite a lot from when I first started drinking this ale. Back Then, a "wrong" pour would dump a load of sediment into the glass and the beer would go opaque. Even so, it was yummy then and it is still yummy now. I think Sparkling Ale was my the first adventure away from the mass-market lagers I used to drink, and got me on to the road to English Pales and Real Ales. I realised there was a whole world of beer out there, and I started trying other styles.

I regret nothing!
