UK Trip Day 11
29 July 2012 12:56I still can't write about the job in Muswellbrook for security reasons, so have some photos of an impressive Jacobean house in Essex. Which would not allow photos of the interior for security reasons.
Auley End House is huge, and is the remaining 1/3rd of the original palace build in the mid 1600s.

A side door.

Servant's quarters, built in the very early 1800s.

In the Kitchen. mmmm shiny copper.

Stables, bridge, and ornamental stream, as laid out by Capability Brown.

Aaron photgraphing the house. Behind him is the view you see from the front rooms. The hedge across the middle of the field hides the B1383. In the far distance is the Mausoleum.
