I just had an mental flash of Ms. Donk doing slow loops to Velvet Green. :D

I'll never forget the look on Ian Anderson's face when they won the first Metal Grammy Award in existance. Or his remark " I guess we're a metal band"..(sarcasm lost on the academy). And the fact that everybody *knew* Metallica should have won it but didn't because they were controversial. Go figure:).

I laughed at Ian's comment a lot. The band seemed amused and bemused at the award. The phrase Heavy Metal first appeared as "Listening to him play is like listening to a load of heavy metal fall from the sky," and was used to describe Jimi Hendrix.

I really should start buying tull CDs to replace my vinyl LPs.
