I have just had all the stitches removed from my back. It stung a little at the time, but now I am missing that persistent unscartchable back itch I've had for ten days.
The doctor handed me the pathology report. The ting he cut out was a dermatofibroma. He said that in 2% of the cases this will turn into a dermatofibrosarcoma -- ie skin cancer -- but in my case it was totally removed and totally benign.
Which is nice.
