denI've just checked my patch of stinkhorns. The 4 from last night have had it, but there are nine new ones startting to show.
Slugs seem to love them. The slimy buggers have swamped the area and are chewing on my fungi. I might have to lay down some baits but I'm not happy about doing that since my garden is home to a blue-tongue lizard and I don't want to poison her.

Evil SLUGS
Date: 2 Mar 2002 06:45 (UTC)It also appears sinister forces are at work. Ask alt.callahans about the SLUGS organization. You could always pour salt on the evil slugs and watch them fry. I'm not gonna *go into a discussion about "salting one's stinkhorns." That sounds up close ane personal :D!!
