Housinge
Mortgage documents signed.
Contracts can now be exchanged. Still no word on the building certificate the solicitor was trying to get.

So the solicitor has to have an inspection conducted and then you sign papers and you are the owner of a shiny new mortgage?

All the papers have been signed. What I need now from the solicitor is confirmation that the big extension was done with council permission. I like the extension but it might be an issue in the future when I sell the house.

You have to have council approval for an extension? That must really cut into the plastic surgery trade down there.
