Be vewwy vewwy qwiet!

I'm hunting houses!

Found some nice ones in the same estate:

#1- 4 bedroom, double garage, ordinary yard, nice outdoors bbq area, $275.000

#2 - 3 bedroom, single garage + car port, nice yard and garden of natives (with watering system), huge back room, bbq in a rotunda, comes with 2 large aviaries, in a cul-de-sac. $250,000+

I'm liking No.2.

You will have to have a puggle room added too...

There is always room for a puggle.

I certainly hope so! IIRC they like to dig, so they need a place they can do that, and not in your room ;)

I got a good deal for you:
3 Bedrooms, craft room, basement with bar, 2 acres of land, built in pool. ~$225,000

The only draw back is the commute would be hell. ;=3

Mate, that house here would be worth nearly $400k. Is the housing market that depressed over there?

She used to breed canaries. They look jut the right size to house peewees.

So did you put an offer in and how soon would it close?

[identity profile] dewhitton.livejournal.com 2008-12-20 08:32 am (UTC)(link)
No offer yet. I'm going halve with my brother and he's still considering.

A cul-de-sac, two aviairies and a big back yard sounds perfect for a menagerie :D................. and the peewee mafia will have a new HQ!

Lots of native trees in the garden, too. New HQ, new nesting ground.

Choice #2 sounds best, but woah! $250,000? Yowzers! You can have my house for half that: 3 bedroom, basement, 7 acres of land, all the water you'll ever need and a miniature "barn".

As a Canadian, I have never seen water as a sell point before. That's kinda scary.

When selling to Oz, I figure mentioning our water and basement features makes Canada sound exotic and exciting. 8-) Kind of like hopping marsupials and no snow makes the Land Down Under exotic to us igloo-dwelling moose smootchers.

Constant supply of water: strange. Snow at Christmas: bizarre

Moose love water and we need the snow for house repair. ;-)
