I've hardly driven my vehicle since March, and that was back when it was a mere $1/L.

IOW, don't even THINK about it, because it won't help. There's such a glut of SUVs and huge pickups in the used-car market that finding another one just like yours is dead easy.
I play the world's tiniest violin for them.

Date: 17 Jul 2008 13:52 (UTC)Where do you live that your gas is $4.55?? I had no idea there were places that were getting that high! Not for unleaded, at least. My dad lives in Oregon and drives a diesel truck. I think he said gas for him is running $4.80 these days. I'm in Austin, TX and am so incredibly thankful that our stations are still flirting with the $4.00 mark.. everyone is at $3.99, $3.97, $3.96..... no one has gone over $4... yet. Of course, now that I say that, it'll probably be $4 when I leave work ;)
