my cats are like that too! Only it's not just with the gooshy food. It's with any food. they have a blue feeding bowl and if they see any blue at the bottom of the bowl they start freaking out like they're starving to death. They'll follow me around the house, running from where I am, into the kitchen. They'll try to trip me as they run into the kitchen. They'll sit in the kitchen and meow pitifully as I walk by.
The only trouble is that the stupid little fuckers only eat from the center of the bowl. So the sides will have 2" of food, but they've created like this little crater where their is no food.
Of course, they have me trained. "Oh, you can see blue? Fine. Here. Have some more so you'll shut the hell up." ;)
