Peewee, Magpies

The local mafia dropped in with a fledgling peewee and a pair of juvenile magpies. The peewee is a little weak but begging for food, and the 'pies are strong and noisey and scarfing down as much as I can give them.

Life goes on.

You see: you lose one but save many. Don't forget that. As for Snorkle, maybe a treatise on what *didn't* work would be almost as valuable as one on what *did* work?

I know. Losing one doesn't make the needy stop.

They are fiesty little birdies!
Be careful when they get older, they are curious about and get into *everything.*
Or so states Gerald Durrell.

My magenpies are a different species from European magenpies.

Yep! http://images.google.com.au/images?hl=en&q=magpie&cr=countryAU&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

But if you go near the nesting tree during chick season, they turn into vicious bastards.
