Always amazes me that ships like her don't just turn turtle in the first bit of chop, I mean, they look so top heavy...
Hell of a lot of machinery packed into the lower hull I guess.

The trick is to realise just how large the ship really is. (i.e. just imagine how much fuel + machinery + manpower maintanence + ammo is required to keep this thing functioning.

It's not top heavy, just that the wide top gives it an illusion of such.

Oh I know that, the majority of that wide top is hanger deck, eg empty space. But it still makes for a bit of an optical illusion.
