Very well done. It reminds me of going to the planetarium when I was a kid. I loved watching that robot dance and sing (in the way that stars sing, that is).

What do the purple lines on the walls represent? Constellations?

I'm fairly sure that that's Orion directly above the globe. Strange viewing angle (for us Northern hemispherians) and the wall/ceiling junction make it trickier to be certain, but I can't think of any other constellations with three stars in a belt like that.

The star map is a screen capture of Orion from Celestia with the constellation lines showing, and mapped onto the corner of the room. You can follow the line of the walls and ceilings by looking at the kinks in the constllation lines.


The viewing angle wasn't set by me, but as it turned out it is aligned the way I see the stars so I didn't see anything wrong. 8)
