Broadband

I think Telstra have lost me as a customer. Wireless is available now, while the lines for ADSL may be available in 12 months if I'm lucky. The price of Snoopa's 256 Premium service is the same as Telstra's 256/64 500MB limited satellite service. I still have 6 months to go on the contract but I regularly go over the 500MB limit and pay more than $120/month.

hmm... Looks like a plan.

In that case you'll more than save the break fees. Go for it.

it was an 18 month contract from 5/2/05, so next week will be the 14th month. I might just let the next 4 months go and cancel.

256 duplex, unlimited d/l sounds good to me. Snoopa start capping id you exceed 2GB in 7 days, something I'll never do.

Might even be cheaper to have both services running than it is to keep paying excess, with the benefit of failover. Then can it after the 4 months.

from what I see, it's _very_ similar to the setup I'm running, it's Very good from what I can tell, and on top of it all, Can get rid of telstra Altogether if you wish, (go for a VOIP setup, and you can ditch the landline phone altogether)
