Wow, those are great pictures. I keep seeing cool cloud patterns, but all my pictures come out bad. I need to learn how to use my camera better.

I use a Canon EOS 50E, and put the auto-setting onto the mountain icon to stop the flash. I do a little post processing in Photoshop (unsharp mask, slight colour grading) but that's about it. It helps to live in an area that has interesting clouds.

One of the most dramatic sky pics I ever took was driving into Dubbo on the way to Brisbane end of last year. I agree the areas has great cloud scenery.
