Heh. When I was dating Cameron way back when, we mutually banned Valentine's Day from our relationship. In fact, we went out of our way to avoid each other on that horrific day, just in case either of us were tempted to celebrate what has become a glorified Hallmark event.

So not all of us USans are so wierd... ;)

It was part of how I grew up and I don't celebrate it either.

I eat chocolate all the rest of the year instead:D.

I am largely oblivious to Valentine's Day. Some years I've done it, but mostly not.

On the other hand, you should SO adopt Halloween. Who cares where it came from? It's a nifty holiday! *grin*
