Spook drank 25mls tonight. I still don't have the new ICBINEM so I had to give him the old formula. I don't think he's growing enough, being only 137g before/162g after. He's getting quite spiney now.
Cute lil' monotreme. 8-) Tell me, are those spines sharp already? Do they have special features, such as tips that break off, special antibiotic coating, an infectious microbe coat, barbs...?
They feel more like the bristles of a hard brush, with sharp tips. When mature they're non-barbed hollow shafts. The tips don't break and as far as I know there is nothing special about them. They're simply modified hairs.

Remember, all that ICBINEM goes into growing *everything*, not just a gut. Claws, spines, nose, tongue, eyes, etc.
25 g difference makes for a pretty good storage capacity if you ask me:).
