This is turning out interestingly. Is it still as buggy as it was before? Or is it something else now?

I'd expect such a vehicle *in reality* would be a seasickness-inducer.

In use, the cab would constantly rock forward and backward, unless MASSIVE gyros were used to keep it perfectly level---and such things not only take up room, but (in this application) would suck up a LOT of power (besides stressing their shaft bearings unmercifully).

Still, with something to stabilize it, it would be difficult to stop---on a wide-open plain with NO trees or overhangs of any kind. Maybe the Moon. Or Mars.

Once the gyros were up to speed they'd be easy to maintain at that rpm. I had in mind an open-plains area for it, which is where the next drawing goes.

Darn it, a few months ago, I found a page of the variations of the "Ride In the Wheel"-type vehicles that had been built in RL. Can't remember where it is, or, in fact, what keywords to use.
