A photo of something unusual

Look at this photo of undisturbed Australian dry scleropyll open woodland.

There is something unusual in it.

This is what the bush around Dubbo looks like. The unusual thing in the photo is the bush itself. There is almost no undisturbed native woodland left; it's all cut down, dug up and farmed over. And that is it's actual colour. There's noting wrong with the film.

Here, have a photo of Scruffy.

Yah - looks like grassland scrub, or oak forest scrub, like you get all over the place in the lower half of California. I recognize that color - that's Fire Hazard Scrub Yellow. ;)

And a dog. :) This would be Scruffy the Non-Wonder dog, yes? Pleased to meet you, Scruffy. That is a very cute dog. If I get off my tail tomorrow, I'll take pictures of baby gerbils that will make your eyes simultaneously melt and explode with the cuteness.

That colour is the normal colour. The aussie bush thrives on fire.

And baby gerbils will not affect me. I have a baby, 2 day old bat.
