(no subject)

My outdoor thermometre says it is 37.9C

*DING!* 100F! HOORAY! And yay for A/C and cold beers.

The Automated station at the airport says it's a whole degree cooler, but the machine is on top of a ridge.

We got the snow in Syracuse... 3 inches on Thanksgiving.

We got up to 99F at Badgerys Creek. I slept through the lot with the ducted aircon keeping it down to ~22C :-)

No aircon, fibro house, 39.5C at 4pm.

And no cold beer.

When they'd announce the temperature at the airport. To quote George Carlin: "I don't know what the hell good knowing the temperature at the airport is. I don't know anybody who *lives* at the airport!"

it's equally nonsensical when you consider that airports are usually several miles out of town..

temp changes can be as much as three to four degrees celsius (especially if they're significantly inland)

Frigid here --- usually between 30F-40F at night now. Then again, it's winter here in the Northeast US. Or soon to be.

I HATE WINTER. >_<

Lizard Rat out.
Tired of snow before it starts in New Haven CT

It's pretty cold here, our temperatures are hovering around the freezing mark, but it looks like it may start to warm up again.
