Forgive me, but that's not quite the same. What you're describing are hetronyms; words that have the same spelling but two meanings. While they're considered a subset of homonyms, they are not quite the same as the oft-miswritten homonyms on the linked page.

While many in the US are fine with heteronyms, there are moral questions regarding homonyms.

Pinch is a homonym, yes?

He tried to pinch some money from my purse, so I beat him with my pool cue.

I was in a pinch so I pawned my pool cue.

Although she knew the nipple was only one dimensional on the monitor, she tried to pinch it anyway.....
