One of my cousins, a botanist, has discovered in A National Park In The Blue Mountains behind Sydney a previously undescribed, un-named plant.
Is that not just totally cool?

Nifty.
Okay, poll: which would be a cooler, naming a plant or naming a star?
(I'd vote for plant, personally, 'cos you can pay to name a star, but you'd be hard pressed to find a botanist willing to give up their naming rights for money...)

I'm afraid it'll be named according to some sort of esotric naming scheme which won't invove bats or me. 8)

I think naming an un-named species would be cooler.

Ah, would that be the national park which is a bit shy about where it keeps its unnamed plants?
What a cool find!

There are just a few of us. One of Mum's cousins was a park ranger until he retired, so right now there's just the two of us.

The same one I used to live in that also has a Sekrit Koala Colony. Beautiful place to live. Wish we still could.

I'm certain it's not carniverous. And probably won't take over the world.
