Batty, how much was your FD-EF convert??

Ive jsut seen a FD 50mm F/1.4 on ebay and am wondering if its worth geting or am i up for $400 for the converter??

I paid $70 for my converter, and that includes $40 postage from the US. do a google search for lens converters first.
