If platypuses have XXXXX rated sex, I wonder if echidnas are the same. I bet no one has studied that, because echidnas are common and boring and ordinary.

Back when she was little, the echidnas were Vicky's favorite critters at the LA Zoo. (I think these days she likes the fossas best, but then they didn't HAVE any then.) She couldn't quite pronounce it right, so called them "enigmas". Did this around a keeper once, who commented that given they didn't even know the sex of some of their collection, that sounded about right to him. :->
