Woohoo, it made it! This was try #2, #1 bounced on insufficient postage, doh!
The bat is totally an openheartsoftly production. The only thing I contributed was a return address. :) She saw it at a swap meet (fleamarket) and thought you would like it.
Belfry hasn't listed Bugs under New Comics quite yet. It's 1AM here, which might have something to do with that ;-)
I shall tell her, and feel free to drop a note in her LJ too :)
I'm not at all surprised that the bat is a Mexican Freetail, they are the most populous bat in the southwest and Mexico AFAIK. We have them flitting about the house here at dusk most nights.
The new homepage is looking rather spiffy isn't it?
And here is the secret to making AF buttons work, thanks to tegeran for the tip:
Place the button .gif's in the ./comichome/image directory
In AF's .cfg, delete the existing button-ology directives and insert:

By the way, how does the new front page for Bugs look? http://www.hirezfox.com/batty/ of course.
The asterisks are place markers for the Next Comic.

In AF's .cfg, delete the existing button-ology directives and insert:
#Define navigation buttons
first_day = first_day.gif
last_day = last_day.gif
previous_day = previous_day.gif
next_day = next_day.gif
And run AF manually, then check the results (you may have to dump the browser cache).
