Chuckle. I can just see that happening. In my 28 years working for Airservices Australia, I heard some verifiable horror stories that weren't too far removed from that tale.
My sister's cattle property has two "airstrips". Fortunately they don't use either of them ... both are too rough to be used safely, one has cattle permanently grazing on it, and the other has a barb wire fence strung across the middle.
